Electric Motor Rewinding
This was an urgent job from one of our mining clients. It’s a 350HP, 6Pole, C-Frame with a squirrel cage on the stator end. They use it on their 6×8 Ball Mill. The motor was affected by a power surge which ended up burning the windings. Our turnaround time for this job was 4 days.

Electric motor rewinding
This is a 300HP, 6Pole, Bar wound C-Frame motor from a mining client. The end-shield for this motor wore out which caused the rotor to rub on the stator. Once laminations are displaced, they go onto make contact with windings causing them to burnout.
In-house Dynamic Balancing
This is the same rotor from the previous picture, the 350HP, 6Pole motor that originally came in for rewinding. At Jany our rewinding services include dynamic balancing of the rotor. The initial test run showed vibrations of 12.4mm/s on the drive end and 10.3mm/s on the non drive-end. Through Dynamic Balancing we reduced the vibrations to 0.4mm/s on drive end and 0.35mm/s on non drive-end
Bar Winding
This is the same 300HP, 6Pole, Bar wound C-Frame motor from the 2 previous pictures. After stripping and balancing, bar winding shown here is in progress
Elution Tank
We commissioned this high pressure stainless steel, 650kg boiler tank for our client for their personal gold elution recovery process.

Collection
This a 2.2KW, 6Pole, Bar wound from a mining client being loaded into their collection truck. The bearing had collapsed and ultimately caused the laminations to rub on the windings, burned the motor. Turn around time for this job was 10 days
